About me

I was born and raised in Central Illinois and attended college at Western Carolina University on a full athletic scholarship. There I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts; Concentration in Graphic Design. I thrived for four years as a Division I student-athlete where I learned the importance of time management, collaborating with various personalities and utilizing determination and discipline to achieve a goal.

As a specialist in print, I desired to become a well-rounded designer so I gained a new skillset from Northwestern’s Coding Boot Camp. The distinguished school supplied accomplished instructors and a top-notch curriculum leaving me with the tools needed to succeed in the world of web development.

My strong work ethic and attention to detail make me a dependable employee. I continue to discover new sources of inspiration to produce fresh, clean layouts that convey a specific message. Think of functional design that utilizes white space to bring focus to what is important. I am a big dreamer whose passion for technology and creativity grows with every new experience.

In my free time I like being active whether that’s biking, playing beach volleyball or throwing a tennis ball for my dog, Wrigley, until my arm gets tired. I also enjoy baking and haven’t had any complaints from my friends or family who fully support this hobby.
